Important Data Today - 12-11-2009

Today we have the monthly bulletin report from the ECB (European Central Bank), followed by Industrial production report at 10:00 GMT.

In Canada we have New Housing price Index data coming out at 13:30 GMT, indicating any change in selling price of the new homes, forecasted at 0.2%, previous 0.1%.

In US we have important data of unemployment claims at 13:30 GMT, forecasted at around 512K same as previous result. Crude oil inventories is another one the energy market players are looking at which is forecasted at 0.8 million, previous -4.0 million, data will be out at 16:00 GMT. We have federal budget balance report at 19:00 GMT forecasted at -152.5 Billion.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will be helding conference at the Asia-pacific economic co-operation finance minister conference in singapore at 16:30 GMT, will be signaling any policy shifts as what market players look for.

ECB Trichet is as well speaking today at 19:00 GMT in frankfurt, volatility is often expected during his speeches.
