The Pound is stable following rise in retail sales in July.

Retail sales in Britain were up 0.40% in July. On an annualized basis, the increase in sales amounted to 3.30%. These are good figures reflect the sales of furniture and appliances.

The Pound was stable following the good figures. The GBPUSD touched 1.6605 just after the announcement, has now fallen to 1.6540. The market awaits further data.
