GBP Under pressure with the fall of housing prices in the UK
A survey by property consultants Hometrack in the UK showed that housing prices fell 4.4% for a 10th straight months, the price was 1.2 % lower on the month.
According to Hometrack’s director of Research over the last 3 months the activity across the housing market remains weak with a 20% drop in demand. The asking prices being achieved fell to 90.9% from 91.6%. The Sterling is under pressure 1.9876 against USD, 0.7928 against the EUR and 214 against JPY.
