Crude weighs down on USD

Rebel attacks on two major crude oil pipelines in Nigeria supported the price of oil above $124. This incident came after the kidnapping of foreign oil workers in Nigeria last week and the security concerns in Turkey during the weekend.

Crude has fallen over $23 from record highs of above $147 at the beginning of the month of July which is around 15%.

USD fell against EUR at 1.5744, 107.60 against JPY and 1.0343 against CHF.
