The EURJPY is on the rise this morning following rumors of the purchase of Areva by Toshiba Corp.

The EURJPY increased this morning to 132.40, on rumors reported by the news agency JIJI that the Japanese group Toshiba Corp. plans to launch a tender to buy French nuclear group Areva. The tender could cost the Japanese Group500B Japanese Yen (approximately EURO 3.7B) the Japanese group.
