United States: consumer confidence index and sales of residences in rise.
Good news for the dollar, the consumer confidence index rose in August to 56,9 compared to 53,0 expected and 51,9 in July. The new Home Sales are also positive for the dollar, in rise of 2,40% with 515' 000 in annualized. The dollar is stable against its principal rivals, to 1,4640 against the euro, 1,1015 against the Swiss franc, 1.8390 against the pound sterling and 109.52 against the yen.
