Tokyo Stock Exchange finishes in fall of 4,95%, BOJ injects new liquidities.
Tokyo Stock Exchange fall 4,95%, at 3 years low, victim of an effect of panic following the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers. The Japanese market was closed yesterday Monday. Concerns of the market go now on AIG and the repurchase of Merrill Lynch by Bank of America, the market fears for the whole of the world system, the banking values were particularly touched. The bank of Japan has in addition reacted by injecting 1' 500 billion yens (14 milliards of dollars) in the money market, the largest intervention of this type of then March 2008.
