Worries on US Government bailout plan reign over the market, USD extending losses.
The greenback continues to lose ground, losing against a basket of currencies as worries of the impact from the $700 billion bailout plan proposed by the US government continues to reign over the market. The dollar lost around 2% as the single currency climbed to 1.4794, the highest we see since late August. This rise was accelerated by the stops that were taken out at 1.4728.
