The Sterling in free fall following the surprise drop in GDP in Q3 2009.
The Pound is in freefall following worse than expected figures. Q3 GDP was down by 0.40% in Q3 2009, while the market expected an increase of 0.20%. The decline in GDP over a year increased to -5.20%. Economic activity in Great Britain fell for the sixth consecutive quarter, something not seen in the history of the country!
