The latest Producer Price Index news release
(http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ppi.pdf) was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Producer Price Index for Finished Goods fell 0.4 percent in September, seasonally adjusted. This decline followed a 0.9-percent drop in August and a 1.2-percent increase in July. Prices for finished goods less foods and energy advanced 0.4 percent after rising 0.2 percent a month earlier.
